Grab Games, the team responsible for several popular VR titles including Knockout League and John Wick Chronicles is working on an AR Replay platform for sports and esports games and highlights.

It looks like one of the first initiatives for the team is to bring League Of Legends spectating to Augmented Reality. This is not surprising due to the team having experience working with League including helping with the development of League Chat, a social e-sports application community, as well as a 360° League Of Legends experience in partnership with Riot Games.

This League AR experience was teased League of Legends was teased at a Google event Tuesday in which AR was heavily featured. The platform is built with ARCore, the AR SDK for Android.
